Built a 1:10 model of the redesigned hull (Hatseflats 24-02) and compared it with the earlier model (Pram-4 06-01) The newer design has a more buoyant shape to support the designed displacement of 500kg (with 2cm transom drag). I found it hard to compare the shapes since they have the same dimensions and similar section shapes.

To get a better idea I put the earlier model into a cradle for the Hatseflats model. It is now clear that the bow of Hatseflats has much more volume and that the aft sections are slightly narrower.
