Revised hull shape

The main reason for this revision (H3) was to create a level sleeping platform at 30cm above the waterline (W300). To achieve this I lowered the bow by 10cm. The deck is 10-15cm lower than the gunwales. By cutting out the middle 80cm we get sidedecks of app. 35cm. The floorboards can then be used to create the sleeping platform.

Because the top of the bow tank now stays level, there is now sufficient height to put the mast bulkhead at S1000. This means the daggerboardcase shifts forward by 20cm. This also means that the cockpit is now 20cm longer.

Apart from lowering the bow, the hull is slightly shallower at max beam. The rest of the hull closely resembles Hatseflats. The diagrams compare Pram-4, Hatseflats and the new H3 design.
