Planed the bottom, forward and aft side of the daggerboard case to fit between bulkheads S1592 and S2092. Put a second epoxy coating on the daggerboard case. Coated the deck stringers for the daggerboard case with epoxy. Coated the back sides of the hatch covers with epoxy.

Finally installed the daggerboard case.
  1. Tacked two taped-up plywood strips to the bottom as a barrier against epoxy glue leaking away from under the daggerboard case.
  2. Buttered the bottom, forward and aft side of the daggerboard case with epoxy glue.
  3. Generously buttered the receiving areas in the hull with epoxy glue.
  4. Pushed the daggerboard case in place.
  5. Used short temporary screws fore and aft to hlid the daggerboard case in place.
  6. Glued and clamped the deck stringers in place.
  7. Filleted the forward and aft edges of the daggerboard case for extra strength
