Not much to do now with the damage to mast and boat. We were lucky that Graham Deans invited Klarie and myself for a sail with Grahams Wayfarer. The plan was to explore the creeks on Hayling Island. Once on the water we saw David Sumner in his Mirror sailing in the same direction. While we were tacking across the deeper water, David stayed in the shallows and got to East Head in front of us. Since we left at high tide we got no further than the beach at East Head. On the beach we met with Neil with his Wanderer and had lunch.
