Today I collected the additional materials I had ordered from Bert Reyntjes at the Bootbouwer.
  • One sheet of Bruynzeel Hechthoot 8mm AB cut into convenient pieces for the aft tank.
  • 3kg DD coat for the hull (orange 42)
  • 4.5kg DD coat for the decks and interior (lightgrey 11)
  • 0.75kg DD coat for the rudder and daggerboard (white 0)
  • 2 rolls of 5x1m glass cloth to cover the underwater area.
  • 1kg PolyPox 700 epoxy glue and 0.5 THV355 hardener
  • 12x 160cm 50x20mm oregon pine to be used as the core of the seats and floorboards
  • 6x 200cm 40x28mm oregon pine (seat and floorboard support, helm and various small items)
  • 5kg fishermans' anchor
  • Veritas MkIII honing guide for sharpening chisels and planes
